For summertime there were plenty of projects provided. Some of them were small works and others were larger totalities. The assignments were given by companies and school. There were a dozen or so students working on them and they started and finished nearly all of them. Our objective was to get as many of the projects started as possible, while trying to start the big school projects as early as possible too.
For companies (Eläkeläisyhdistys, Diabetesyhdistys, Rasti-Hyry ja Javeco) we did websites with WordPress and for CSC we made a catalogue of the services they provide. For Herman IT we made a test of how fast is network traffic in virual machines. Moreover we did geocaching -service to SokosHotelli and for liikaraha.fi we did reservation system separation as marketable totality.
The most important projects done for the lab were old IBM disk system deployment and greenhouse planning for the balcony which will continue at autumn. Other noticeable projects were changing computers in the lab, productising new services and planning “avoimet ovet KAMK:lla” (open House at KAMK) event on behalf of KAJAK DC.
